(Brinley is Going to School)

It is official. Brinley is starting K3 this August. I never thought that I would put her in preschool this young but she is in desperate need of the structure and social interaction. We thought really hard about where to put her and we kept feeling very strongly about this little private school in Middlesboro. It is called Gateway Christian. The only thing that is a little bit of a draw back is that their program in M-F which means my baby will be away from me every day. She is only there a few hours though and we feel like it will be a great opportunity. We interviewed her before we left for SC, put down a deposit and her uniforms are ordered. Her orientation papers should arrive any day now. I honestly do not know what I will do with my self for 3 hours every morning but I am sure I will figure something out. The one thing that this means is that there will be NO more traveling for me and Brinley this year. We are going to be staying put in good ol' Cumberland Gap. Last year, I was literally out of town every other month for a month. I had a really tough year as far as my health went and the whole adjustment to a husband as a medical student. However, I feel really good about this year. We have some incredible neighbors, amazing friends from school, and even more amazing people from church. I have a good feeling about this year and everything it is going to offer. I know Brinley is going to do amazingly well at school and that she will learn so much.
